Amy lived in New York for many years, doing graduate work at Pratt Institute. She paid for tuition by working as a graphic artist, serving a range of corporate clients out of her studio in Chelsea. While she was there, she taught Computer Graphics at the School of Visual Arts.
Amy's style developed from her love of contemporary design and studies of the natural world . The resulting art is modern and sophisticated, borrowing shapes, patterns and rich colors from nature. Her versatile creative abilities have become sought after in the competitive marketplace. Since she launched the licensing division of her art business a couple of years ago, Amy has enjoyed working with many manufacturers to create successful and unique products for their clients.
